Bio

How it all began

I started playing golf in 1993 on a public golf range before I became a member of the Golf Club Mettmann in 1995. After just one full season I got nominated into the NRW Youth Team to get support from the german golf federation. In 2000 I was nominated into the german national team and from there on I continued to be a part of team germany for the next 5 years. Durning that periode of my career I represented Germany in 5 european championships and one world cup. I also managed to claim the german amateur team championship and some individual championships in Germany and throughout europe. When I turned pro in 2005 I had a handicap of +4 which was the second best handicap in the country (from more than 640.000 german golfers). Over the years as a professional golfer I was able to win 4 tournaments and finished in the top 10 more than 35 times. I competed in more than 25 countries around the world and play tournaments on many different tours including the European Tour.
